Hi, I’m Jeff Moffat, the owner of Sure Ancaster
An Ancaster resident for 19 years, I was born and raised in Toronto where I attended Seneca College to study Fire Prevention Engineering Technology. Fire has always been a part of my life. I spent my weekends up in Northern Ontario with my family, splitting wood and using fire to heat our cottage, which taught me not only how to work with fire but also how to respect it. To this day, I always have a fire going whenever I can.
Years ago, lightning struck my great-grandparents’ cottage and destroyed it. There was nothing anyone could do- sometimes nature wins. That’s why I take fire preparedness seriously. Some things in life are beyond our control, but fire safety isn’t.

I’m a calculated risk taker who loves the thrill of skiing, snowmobiling and ATVing, but when it comes to people’s homes, workplaces, and families, I take safety seriously. I truly believe fire prevention saves lives and protects homes from costly damage. This is why I started Sure Ancaster and why I enjoy being a problem solver and fixer. If I can lend a hand, I would like to.
